I can't say that I have been everywhere and done everything, but I have been a few places and done a few things. 

I was in Berlin Germany when the Wall fell.  I flew the first helicopter after the fall of the wall. 

While in Korea, I saw the aftermath of a North Korean ambush on American GI's.  (4 dead)  They probably didn't even make the evening news.

While in Mainz Germany, I saw archelogists uncover ancient Roman ruins.

A dozen other places, a dozen other things...they all make up a life of events.
